die! Die! DIE! The Family Game of Genocidal Warfare!

ADD TO WISHLIST >

One thing that has always bothered me was the predominance of wargames that espoused some sort of resolution that fell far short of complete annihilation. So I've done something about that -- "die! Die! DIE! The Family Game of Genocidal Warfare!" is here! "die! Die! DIE!" is The Family Game of Genocidal Warfare. Players build empires and advance their technology in an effort to smash the others into the dust. The board is customizable each game, and almost infinitely expandable. Using mechanics that are basic and elemental, the game proceeds at a breakneck pace to the end, with piles of bodies in every direction. The perfect game for a sunday night around the dinner table.
The PDF includes a beatifully rendered color version, and a more inexpensively rendered b&w edition (so as to show pity on your printer!).
This game will also be expanded by two supplements before the end of the year - "dead! Dead! DEAD!" which will expand the roles of the various forces as well as introduce widely varied terrain, and "I Spit On Your Grave!" which will introduce doomsday weapons, orbital lasers, and even more chaos. "die! Die! DIE!", "dead! Dead! DEAD!" and "I Spit On Your Grave!" are trademarks of Paul Arden Lidberg and Team Frog Studios.

Its a risk clone with a few extra tweeks to the formula. You have terrain features, you have differently powered units, you also have some light base building/economic bits. Being said, i cannot shake how much this plays and reads like risk with [...]

This game didn't really inspire me when I first got it, however the blurb is totally truthful about the content of the game. If you want an in depth wargame . . look elsewhere. If you want a bit of simple fun, it delivers the goods. The artwork . . wel [...]

This is a neat game for those who like Risk. A little crunchier than Risk as far as game play is concerned. The board leasves a little to be desired (bigger hexes would work a little better, and you could easily print out the gameboard hexes and blow [...]

If you are a hard-core, long-time gamer, just set this one down and go pick up Warhammer. If you are a beginner, or the proud parent or influential adult connection of a future young gamer, then you can boost this rating by two and definately get it. [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
